[Adam Hart] What are the odds that both members of PlayWithOurFood will be sitting in the seats for the greatest Red Sox game of the season? Out of 81 home games played at Fenway Park, we each procure tickets, separately, for the return of the great Nomar Garciaparra. And I have better seats.

TJ will be on the Budweiser Roof, yucking it up with his dad, sister and her boyfriend. I’ll be in the State Street Pavilion, as part of my prize for the award-winning work done on this NFL Draft site. I’ll be taking my sister, since she’s the only one who supported my idea for that site from its inception.

What makes this night special is the rousing ovation to be given to Nomar — the man who was handed the torch by Ted Williams. That torch was then ripped from his hands. So you better believe there will be an ovation. This is the guy, after all, after whom we modeled our throws from shortstop during high school. He was a legend as a 20-something year old. Legends get ovations, whether the ownership wants it or not.

Oh, and if you think I’m not getting an El Tiante Cubano Sandwich at Fenway, you’re gravely mistaken.
