[Adam Hart] By now you’ve heard of the Christmas Day terror plot, in which a Nigerian man attempted to blow up a Northwest flight from Amsterdam to Detroit to carry out jihad, blah, blah, blah. These terrorists are really getting tiring. Shouldn’t they be running out of them by now?

Anyway, the alleged terrorist’s name is Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab – which is four names by my count – and he is the 23-year-old son of a wealthy Nigerian banker. Which is why I find this next bit a little strange.

Via ABCNews.com:

He was concerned he would not get into college at Caltech, Stanford or Berkeley because of his test scores.

“I tried the SAT. It was a disaster!!! I didn’t practice well and I got 1200.” Abdulmutallab attended college in London between 2005 and 2008.

First of all, I got a 1220 on my SAT. When I was 17. So yeah, this kid definitely isn’t that smart. But what did you expect? He’s the son of a guy who can’t even match verb tenses in his generous e-mail offers to kind sirs and madams in the United States.  And the elder Abdulmutallab has proven there’s no need for mastery of the English language when offering 400,000 US Dollars for a simple wire transfer of inheritance funds.  This kid would just be wasting money studying at one of those prestigious schools.  Pops should’ve just set him up with a Gmail account and let him get after it.

P.S. Obviously his dad might not be that Nigerian do-gooder who’s always sending out those phishing e-mails.  It’s just a joke.  Maybe.

[Adam Hart] Look, there are three possibilities with this video:

  1. The snowballs are CGI’d, because they are coming from everywhere non-stop.
  2. This is the fourth quarter and Eagles fans had been building up their snowball arsenal the entire game for this onslaught.
  3. Eagles fans are the fastest snowball builders this side of the Mississippi.

If there were ever a video exemplifying why you should never — under ANY circumstances — travel to Philadelphia, this is it. Those people are like the upperclassmen jerks in high school who torment the freshmen, except they never grew up.

That said, I love the commitment. They didn’t even stop when the Lincoln Financial Field worker tried to shield the 49ers fans. No. 55 even tossed a snowball at them from two seats over (:45 second mark), then jumped in their grave as soon as they were escorted out. I just hope the worker moved them to a luxury box or something — away from those barbarians.

Saints
[Adam Hart] And this is why you don’t mess with Saints fans. Not because they’ll gang up and shoot you. Because they’ll gang up and shoot your TV.

This video will explain it all.

[Adam Hart] Considering he lives his life for reality program paychecks, I’m surprised someone like Spencer Pratt hasn’t seen the bright side of having a kid with wife Heidi Montag. Tabloid magazines fork over big time cash for baby pics. Or maybe this whole “I don’t want a kid” thing can only drive up the price. Maybe he’s just on a whole different level.

[Adam Hart] If Rock n’ Roll is centered on plowing dudes in the face (1:17 mark), then, yes, its spirit is thriving.

Via an interview on RyanSeacrest.com:

“I’m not a babysitter, I’m a performer,” Adam Lambert said. “The spirit of rock and roll is alive and well.”

This is the much talked about AMA performance which has people in an uproar. I mean, I don’t get why people are bitching about this. It’s not like he took another guy’s head and rubbed it all over his groin. …Oh wait, that IS what he did. Yeah, save that for the something that’s not on national television.

[Adam Hart] I don’t care how drunk you are — if you fall on the tracks with a train approaching, you get that adrenalin pumping, wake your ass up and hop back up on the platform. This is just a terrible performance.

Luckily, those bystanders flagged down the T driver and got her to stop. It’s amazing what a driver without a text messaging machine can accomplish.
